Reducing the impact of e-waste Americans junked almost 3 million tons of electronics in 2007 and e-waste is the fastest growing category in our waste streams. Computers contain dangerous toxins from lead, cadmium, mercury and other hazardous materials which if not properly disposed, will leak into our environment. Recycling computers by refurbishing them is an important way to protect the environment while helping someone in need. Reusing through refurbishing We take your old computers and related equipment and refurbish them. Once the computers are in working order we can then provide them at no cost to families and other non profit charities right here in our community. Recycling through your donations If you have a computer that is less then five years old, chances are that it can be put to good use by someone else. By donating your old disused computer to us you are eligible for a tax deduction as we are a Microsoft Authorized Non-Profit Refurbisher. |
