10 Things You Can Do
Enjoying the peaceful nature of Salado Creek is much easier to do when the air we breathe is clean.

What can you do to improve air quality?

1. Share a ride to work or school.

2. Try to avoid rush hour traffic.

3. Walk or ride a bicycle.

4. Take your lunch to work or school.

5. Combine errands into one trip.

6. Avoid drive-through lanes.

7. Postpone refueling until after 6 p.m.

8. When refueling, don't "top off" your gas tank.

9. Postpone mowing until after 6 p.m.

10. Change your oil every three months or 3000 miles. Keep your vehicle properly tuned.
