Halloween Costume Swaps
9-2-2005
MPK is serving as a clearinghouse for a costume swap. Many of us have adorable costumes leftover from past years just sitting in a box. While we may want to hang onto them for sentimental reasons, we are willing to allow neighbors to borrow them (and have one last chance before we have grandchildren to see that costume on a tiny body). Or, if you want to sell a costume, that's okay, too. Any member of MPK is eligible to offer or claim a costume. Simply reply to this post to post a costume and include your e-mail address so interested members can contact you directly.
I would like to offer the following:
2yr old: Ladybug costume. Plush fabric vest-style costume for child to wear with black or red leggings and turtleneck. The back of the vest is longer than the front and cut to resemble folded ladybug wings. Comes with a red hat with black antenna.
2yr old: Blue from Blue's Clues. Polar-fleece romper style (long sleves and down to ankle) costume, light blue with darker blue spots. Comes with a matching hat with floppy blue ears. Homemade.
3yr old: Frog costume from Old Navy. Plush costume, romper style (long sleves to ankle) with hood. Frog eyes on top of hood. The sleeves have webbed mittens that can be worn over the hand or rolled up.
3-4 year old: Elmo costume. Very furry. Vest style with hood. Elmo's mouth, nose, and eyes sit atop the hood. To be worn with red pants & turtleneck.
