How Much Is enough
4-6-2007
The development of the LaGrange farm is a terrible idea and it is being done with total disregard for the environmental effects as well as the increased traffic load to the area; This does not even take into account the effect it will have on our overall quality of life. developers and contractors are only after their personal interests; which is money. the disregard for the historical value and tradition is outrageous to say the least. Route 40 is already overcrowded and congested on most mornings. Apparently, the folks involved in pushing this project have not moved past the days of the settlers and indians, when the indian land was just taken from them. why do need more houses? what is the tax impact on the community? What about the additional pollution to the water and air? and why, when Perch Creek was developed, weren't these plans made known then? Because most people would not have bought their present homes. We have been ''backdoored'' and the politicians are in on the deal. why else would there be such a conflict of interest with the attorney (she shall remain nameless) representing the interest to push this forward and the other half being in position to make it happen. what si going on here?
