The Glendora Emergency Response Communications group offers about 2 Technician Classes a year, but anyone interested in becoming a ham does not have to take a class! Get a copy of Gordo's latest study guide, then go to www.qrz.com and take practice tests until you are scoring in the high 80 percentile every time. Then take the exam! That's it! BTW the next GERC sponsored Technician examination is Nov. 1, 2006. See News article for details... 73
