Baseball troubles

2-7-2007
My son has played baseball for over 3 years now. Unfortunately this year he has a schedule conflict with his team practice. It is a possiblity that my son will not be able to play this season, because they will not allow him to change teams. Now, they haven't told me no for sure, but it looks to be leaning that way. I do not understand this. We are talking about minor league baseball, where players add on to teams weeks into the season. So, you are telling me it would be a problem for him to switch to another team. Let me remind you that I brought this up before the first practices even started. All I know is that if they tell me he can not change teams, the board members will be explaining to my son why he can not play baseball this year. I hope they find a way to resolve this issue. I can't imagine my son is the first player who has requested to change teams. What happen to the most important thing is for the kids to have fun?
