East Braintree Civic Association Discussions Who represents East Braintree? 10-31-2002 Beside Lee Dingee, what other selectman is actually listening to the needs of the East Braintree residents? There are a great many large projects that effect the East Braintree residents in particular: Greenbush - is the MBTA doing anything for Braintree? It has taken Mike Lang's and Jim Casey's nudging to get the selectman back on the right track. The selectman then picked Joe Driscoll as the selectman's rep but will he be working for us or for the T? Then we have the ship yard, Quincy has taken a leadership role, as it should, but anything that goes in the ship yard will also greatly effect East Braintree. Donna O'Sullivan and Mike Lang are representing Braintree bu we greatly need the residents to show their support. We do NOT want ship scrapping in the ship yard! This could be very hazardess to our health and the water that we have been trying to clean up... David Shaw is out this year...thank God..do es anyone have any suggestions for a replacement? Especially one that will actually 'Represent' East Braintree? -By Mom |
