Berries, Berries, Berries!

Berries are Back!

Last year the Grant Park Neighborhood Association sold quality, local berries to raise funds and we are happy to be able to do it again this year. Not only will this fundraiser benefit GPNA by helping us raise sorely needed money, but it will also help address a significant problem here in the Northwest.

What fruit are we selling and when will the fruit be here?

Oregon strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, marionberries and organic strawberries and blueberries. The strawberries, raspberries and marionberries are cleaned, processed and ready to eat when you pick them up. Blueberries and organic fruit should be washed. Strawberries may be picked up on June 4th. Blueberries, marionberries and raspberries will be available on June 25th. Delivery location is the QFC across from Fernwood Middle School.

How can you help?

You can purchase fruit for you and your family. You can have order forms at your business for co-workers and customers. And you can help us spread the word by telling friends, neighbors, family, co-workers and business associates. And we need volunteers to help distribute fruit on pick-up days, staff tables and hand out information at different events, and manage incoming orders.

This program was created in cooperation with the local area berry farmers, Oregon Berry Packing Company, and 3F Consulting, a company founded to help organizations create a steady stream of revenue while helping the Oregon farmers at the same time.
