fence paint
I am moving to the neighborhood soon and noticed that the fence around my house needs a coat of paint. Could somebody tell me what color paint or stain I need to use and where the best place to find it is? Thank you for your help.

Fence paint reply.

If you want to paint your house in this neighborhood, you have to get approval of the arcitechture commitee, so they would be the folks to ask. I hope you don't have more cars than garage spaces because the parking nazis around here are rather rabid about emforcement.

I'll agree with the parking enfo

I went through the process of getting approval of house paint colors. The architecture committee process was not too bad. However, the enforcement practices as regards parking borders on the ridiculous.
New HOAs in Parker cannot regulate on street parking. The way the HOA regulates parking is the most contentious issue in the community. I for one feel that since the do not pay for street maintenance, nor does the HOA pay for street plowing, they should not be able to tell me whether or not I can park on the street.
Find a newer HOA (or a neighborhood with no covenants)that does not have parking restrictions because the Stroh Ranch HOA does not have any sense of perspective when it comes to parking enforcement.

parking enforcement

Dear Scott,

I am in court with the association over this matter - they are trying to charge me $1,900 dollars in parking fines. I went through proper procedure and asked for a variance - they denied me. I have 5 cars (2 teenage drivers, husband, work vehicle, my own vehicle) We are paying to park vehicles elsewhere. In the meantime they say I owe all this money for parking on the street. The parking situation was not disclosed to me by the builder and CC & R's weren't given me until the closing table. Any suggestions?
