It's the day we've all been waiting for for a oouple of years now. The long awaited ''fountain'' seem to pass a milestone in it's progress. It was a planned media event, unfortnately, none of us residents knew about it.

Four statutes of ''horses'' arrived today and were mounted on top of the tile fountain at Westpointe Blvd and Hiawassee Rd. Workers scurried around and a row of water jet fountains were running today. It's only a test run as tonight, nothing was on and all the light fixtures that had been laid out were taken in. It's a good start though and been a long time coming.

Horse Fountain Statue

Well, the horses are in, the water's running, and the fountain looks very nice.

I think it still looks a little plain but all in all, in looks good.
