Vaulting Its Gymnastics on Horse
More than ever before, measures like the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) merge handicapped individuals into the mainstream of our social structure. It is to the benefit of everyone that both handicapped and non-handicapped learn about each other in a social setting before they become adults.
Horses for the handicapped
Valley View's headquarters is an 8 horse facility devoted entirely to Equestrian Vaulting. Equestrian Vaulting is gymnastics on the back of a moving horse. Classes include 10 vaulters, a horse, a coach and a lounger plus side-walker assistants in handicapped classes.
Why Vaulting isn't part of NAHRA
Vaulting is an alternative equestrian therapy.
