Wyandotte Clubs & Organizations Roosevelt High School Instrumental Music Department Concert Band Concert Band The Concert Band performs in several concerts during the year. Many members will participate in the Solo and Ensemble Festivals, sponsored by the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association, which are held each winter. This band also participates in MSBOA Band Festival. The main purpose of the class is to develop all performance skills to the highest level. At the same time, students will develop an appreciation for the aesthetics and mechanics of music as art. Prerequisites Successful completion of instrumental music in middle school. The Concert Band performed very well at their first ever MSBOA Band Festival. The judges wrote some excellent comments that the band has reviewed and has already started to use to help them improve.
