YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME! April, 2009 WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF R.A.I.N. EASTCHESTER SENIOR CENTER! This website is being updated for the Month of April. Please be patient as we update the Newsletter, the menus, and the calendar of activities. And thanks for for visiting us. You can also visit one of our sister centers--the R.A.I.N. Summer is almost here and we are beginning to go outside for many of our activities. See below: The recent AARP Health Fair and our revived WALKING CLUB. A day at the Center is chock full of great activities--something for everyone! From a quiet hour in the library to lively discussions in the Literature group and Current Events. Exercise galore. The Fair was sponsored by AARP Chapter 1889 and Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., the Iota Chi Chapter. Seven agencies were on hand to provide hands-on health services and to hand out information and goodies. See our ''Club'' NEWSLETTER about this.
