Portland Museum

Neighborhood History
The Portland Museum is located at 2308 Portland Avenue in Louisville, KY. The museum has a visual and light show that highlights Portland's heritage.


Beech Grove
The Portland Museum is housed in the former Portland Bridge Mission structure. This structure is built on the front of Beech Grove, a home once owned by the Skene Family,and was constructed in the 1800's.
Restoration is still taking place.
The ''If Not Audubon, Who?'', exhibit is located in one of the rooms that has undergone restoration.
The Comstock Gallery houses temporary exhibits.
