The United Way of Central Ohio and the Neighborhood Partnership Center welcomes you to witness the reality of Getting to the heart of ''what matters'' in neighborhoods. The Center is a vehicle used to build partnerships that make up Central Ohio. The Neighborhood Partnership Center empowers local citizens and community leaders to promote positive change in their neighborhoods through training, technical assistance, grants programs and resource development. The Partnership Center The Neighborhood Partnership Center's foundation has been built upon strategic collaborations, which includes an assembly of volunteers from neighborhood organizations, member agencies, government and private businesses. The objective of the Partnership Center is to develop an effective and efficient means of providing valuable resources that can be utilized by neighborhood organizations and community residents. Our goal is to empower individuals by rendering services on the methodology of acquiring and sustaining the development of communities by the residents that reside within them. Over the past several years the Neighborhood Partnership Center has established itself as the Neighborhood Facilitation of training and identification of resources. Since its inception, over 5,000 neighbors and friends have participated in training or community building activities through the Center. Getting to the ''heart'' of what matters in neighborhoods is a philosophy that we have adopted. This philosophy is the core of what we feel can bridge the development of neighborhoods, civic associations and community associations. All of our initiatives thrive on the notion that the Neighborhood Partnership Center will remain an instrument in delivering responsive solutions that disburse results at the neighborhood level. What is The Partnership Center The Neighborhood Partnership Center is: *An intensive learning environment designed for neighborhood leaders. *An interactive environment that promotes neighborhood development and community building activities. *A Grantsmanship Center offering a library of grant resources. *A place where proposal development offers one-on-one assistance for project development. *A supportive network of leaders for on-going neighborhood development. *An access point for great ideas!
