Youth empowerment Youth are the pulse of Hedgeville's community. Given the chance these youth can make a positive change in their neighborhood. The plan is to run a program through the Hedgeville Empowerment non-profit and will be comprised of youth between 13 - 20 years of age that reside within the Hedgeville community. The youth will have the opportunity to give their thoughts on what they witness on the streets of City of Wilmington, Delaware. The youth will give their feelings on why they feel drugs and violence are permeating throughout the streets of Wilmington. The communication between youth and adults will be filmed and shown on a local television station. |
