About Harriman Hikers Harriman Hikers is a North New Jersey Singles Hiking Club. Established 1974, we are one of the area's oldest singles organizations. Every Sunday, year-round, in all kinds of weather, we hike the trails of Harriman State Park NY, Northern NJ and the Lower Hudson Valley NY. Additional Info Singles of all ages are welcome. Hikes are intermediate and although no equipment or experience is needed hikers should be in good physical shape and capable of hiking 7-8 miles in hilly and rocky country where some hills can be steep. · We hike throughout the year and in all kinds of weather. · There is always a sweep making sure that no one strays off the trail. · Hike destinations are chosen based on weather conditions and the availability of parking.
