Neighborhood Awareness This organization is entirely voluntary. There is a monthly newsletter, it is distriuted by the Block Captains, hopefully the 2nd weekend following the meeting. This newsletter will list any incidents that have happened the previoius month, any upcoming neighborhood activities, and a list of the Chapelwood Neighborhood Watch Block Captains, and Director, complete with area of responsibility and phone numbers. Chapelwood N.W. Kick-off Event The Chapelwood Neighborhood Kick-off Event will be held April 22nd, from 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. The two free signs donated by the Crime & Safety Council will be unveiled at the opening ceremonies and will be attended by local dignataries. TV/Radio/Newspapers will be invited to cover the event. Activites following the unveiling event will be an Easter Egg decorating contest, an Easter Egg Hunt, an Easter crafts table, a Face Painting for the children, as well as a Police Information booth. A hot dog stand, with treats for sale as a fund raising event will be available for the noon time coverage. |
