Three (3) vacancies on East PARK District Advisory Council

Serve a three (3) year term -- meet monthly, 6:30pm
Mecklenburg County’s East Park District Advisory Council (EPDAC) presently has three (3) vacancies. We are committed to having representatives from different parts of the district. This helps us have equal opinions from all sections. We would like for you to recommend at least one person from your neighborhood to serve a three (3) year expired term. The EPDAC generally meets monthly to receive park projects updates, attend community workshops and hear request from the public on concerns and partnership opportunities.

Capital Needs Assessment workshop - November 18th at Winterfield
We are also in the process of holding the district’s Capital Needs Assessment workshop on November 18th at Winterfield Elementary School, 3100 Winterfield Place. It should begin at 6:30pm. Please come and help us determine what park and recreation amenities should planned for the district within the next ten (10) years.

Please e-mail me for an application EAVESAR@co.mecklenburg.nc.us
Please have the attached application for membership completed and returned to me at 5715 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC. I am in the process of tracking the applications for our district.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Andra’ Reid Eaves
East Park District General Manager
