This Web Site: www.neighborhoodlink.com/org/bgcc/

History
The club was established in 1924 by a group of Bowling Green business and community leaders. Prior to that time the 73 acres was the site of the Wood County Fair. In 1937, a new and larger club house was constructed. That building was destroyed by fire on July 17, 1970, and on August 15, 1971, the present club house was opened. It was remodeled in 1988 to its present state. 1999 marked the 75th Anniversary of the club
Golf Course and Facilities
The Bowling Green Golf Course is open to the public and tee times are advised. It is a 9-hole course with 18 tees and easy access.
The golf course has a P.G.A. certified golf pro, certified club builder, and advise or private lessons may be had.
There is a fully-stocked pro shop with competitive prices and golf supplies and apparel.
The club house is private and requires a membership to use the facilities. However, the dining room is open to the public for lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Club house is also available for banquets by calling the club manager.
Membership Benefits

As a member you have the advantages of being able to participate in a variety of tournaments, ie: Memorial Day warm-up scramble, 4th of July scramble, Labor Day Calcutta, and Friday evening ''Scotch Ball/Worm Ball'' just to name a few. For the lady golfers we have the Golferettes who play on Tuesday mornings.
Additional benefits include a private Members Lounge that overlooks the golf course for intimate dining or just to kick back and enjoy conversing with fellow members.
There are locker rooms, for both men and women.
An active Social Committee organizes events each month for the enjoyment of all members and their guests.
