Salado Safari San Antonio students need to understand that our rivers and streams are valuable natural assets, much more than drainage ditches or dumping grounds. The Salado Safari project encourages children to have fun learning about, cherishing, improving and preserving these sensitive ecosystems. The Salado Creek corridor is a terrific outdoor learning lab! Reading, writing, science, social studies and more...the list is as long as your imagination...and there are volunteers to help!
