REJECTION OF APARTMENT PROJECT RECOMMENDED BY LUCB

PARK PLACE APARTMENT DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

The flood of SIPNA letters in opposition to the 202 apartments and the great turnout at the Land Use Control Board meeting played a great role in the unanimous recommendation of REJECTION by the LUCB. The developer, however, has decided to take the case to the City Council on November 6th to set a date for a Public Hearing before the Council. The earliest date for would be November 20th--mark your calendars for this tentative date
SIPNA has compiled a list of e-mail addresses from the LUCB hearing letters; and the moment we learn of the date for the City Council hearing, we will put out the word on e-mail for people to start contacting City Council members by letters, telephone calls or personal visits. We will also have flyers ready to go in order to reach neighbors who do not have e-mail or have not previously written a letter. Because e-mail is faster, we hope those who receive an e-mail alert will spread the word to their neighbors as soon as get their notice. Have your letters ready to go!

WE NEED 7 VOTES TO DEFEAT THIS GIANT APARTMENT DEVELOPMENT THAT IS TOTALLY OUT OF CHARACTER WITH OUR NEIGHBORHOOD.
WE NEED YOUR LETTERS AND YOUR PRESENCE AT THE PUBLIC HEARING.
