Tis the season, and I'm sorry to report that car break-ins are once again plaguing the area. On Cottingham Place, just west of Westminster Place, there were a number of cars parked in the street on Friday night, December 7th. Three were broken into; windows smashed. The police reported that a number of similar incidences were reported in this area on the same night.
These break-ins are serious and prevalent enough to cause Kroger to hire security in the parking lot. That has never been prior to this year.
