This morning I received a call telling me that in River Oaks View, off Kirby near Humphreys - 1164 River Oaks View Cove - there was an armed robbery. A couple was returning home and a man with a gun approached them as they opened their garage door. He asked for and took her purse and all the cash/cards her husband had. She reached up and pushed the button in the car to close the garage door and the man fled.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what we, as a neighborhood, can do to combat these intrusions, please open a discussion on this website. In the meantime, I will continue to post information as I receive it.
