About Our Association

Background Information
Eastwood Manor Association was organized in 1966, when the Eastwood Manor Subdivision boundaries were Massey Lane, Kirby Road, East Massey Road and Cottingham Place, making it one of the oldest neighborhood associations in the City. We have been recognized as a supportive group, though small, on issues which could infringe upon our boundaries. As development and traffic began to move east in the '80s, we were able to ward off a number of potential problems by working with other neighborhood groups and our efforts were successful.

Boundaries Expanded
In 1991 the total number of homes in the Association was brought to two hundred and ninety-three when it was voted by the membership to include all areas contiguous to Eastwood Manor. Each of the subdivisions now included in the Association has its own covenants as does Eastwood Manor. Eastwood Manor, however, is the only subdivision having its own bylaws as an association and it was with a renewed spirit of working toward common goals that the surrounding areas were invited into the Association originally organized to preserve and protect the residential integrity of Eastwood Manor.

Included Subdivisions
In addition to the Eastwood Manor Subdivision the Association is comprised of Ratner/Hanover, North Eastwood Manor and River Oaks View.
