Two Creeks Youth Work Opportunities
Are you or do you know a youth living within the boundaries of Sixth Avenue and Colfax and Sheridan and Wadsworth Blvds? Do you want to earn some spending money while helping out a neighbor? For youth under 16 it is almost impossible to find a summer job. You're bored, you need money to go most places with your friends, what are you supposed to do?
Join the Two Creeks Youth Workforce!
Responsible young people are needed to help neighbors with mowing and yardwork and various household tasks during spring and summer. You can also help with raking and snow shoveling during the fall and winter seasons.
How do you join?
The first step is to contact Two Creeks Youth Representative, Tom Boyd. Give him the following information:
Your Name,
Your Age,
Your Phone Number
Your Address
Any Previous Experience you have
Personal References who can vouch for you
and
Hours You Are Available for work
He will then put your name onto a list to distribute to neighbors indicating a need for help.
Requirements and Specifics:
AGE
You must be at least 11 years of age to participate and at least 12 years old to mow lawns. Proof of age will be required.
WAGES
For lawn mowing workers will earn $20 per job for large lawns and $15 per job for small to medium lawns. Mowing jobs shall include trimming/edging and bagging and cleanup of grass clippings.
Payment for all other tasks will be based on current minimum wage.
