2004 SLNC ELECTIONS INFORMATION

SLNC ELECTIONS SEPTEMBER 18

Elections for the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council Governing Board will be held on Saturday, September 18 at the Micheltorena Street Elementary School Auditorium (1511 Micheltorena Street, just north of Sunset).

DEADLINE TO FILE CANDIDACY

The deadline to declare your candidacy is Friday, August 20 at 5 PM.

COMMUNITY GROUPS TO SPONSOR CANDIDATE FORUMS

A number of active community groups are hosting forums for you to meet and get to know the candidates for the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council Governing Board. The first is sponsored by the Silver Lake Improvement Association. It will be held on Thursday, August 26 at 7 PM at the Russian Orthodox Cathedral at 650 Micheltorena. Then, on Tuesday, September 7, the Committee to Save Silver Lake's Reservoirs and the Silver Lake Seniors will cohost a forum at 7 PM at the Silver Lake Recreation Center gymnasium (near the dog park). Finally, the Silver Lake Chamber of Commerce will host a forum on Tuesday, September 14 at 7 PM at the Silver lake Publishing Company (3501 Sunset).
