Lafayette Square Area Coalition

Purpose

The mission of the Lafayette Square Area Coalition is to bring together business and community leaders who will encourage economic growth and development for a thriving business community in the Lafayette Square area.
The Lafayette Square Area Coalition has made great strides over the past year with its revitalization efforts. The organization is privileged to have economic development planners, city & county officials, representatives of Simon Properties, and many other talented people among its volunteers. The land use committee has been very active and has even taken a field trip to Ohio to visit other revitalized mall areas.

Meetings

Meetings are held at 5:30 pm on the last Tuesday of each month at the Healthplex (2nd floor), 38th & Guion Rd., next to Westview hospital. These meetings are informative, stimulating and encouraging.

Networking

The coalition also holds networking sessions once each month, where area business leaders, residents, clergy, educators, etc. are welcome to meet and greet to informally discuss future possibilities for the area.
