Accomplishments 2008 Farley Neighborhood Association

We with the help of the city had a fantastic year of accomplishments on your behalf last year. Two drug houses were shut down, the 14th Street dip at the west end was checked out and fixed, we removed 4 junk cars from the neighborhood, Girls School Road and bridge were repaved, we put up a “Slow Children Playing” sign on Doris Drive and had the Sherriff’s department do a speed check several afternoons.

A dog problem was fixed with two neighbors resolving the issue, we removed a tree out of the creek at Furman and 16th Street, fixed pot holes, called the fire department to put out several open burning incidents, talked several people into cleaning up their yards, and last but not least killed the liquor license application for Gas America on Farley and 10th Streets.

People, Farley is still a great place to live. Please show your pride in keeping up your property and pay your dues.
