... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am CST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CST this morning.

Areas of dense fog are expected through mid morning... or until an
area of rain moves into the region. Visibilities may be near zero
at times early this morning..

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

... Areas of fog... locally dense this morning...

Fog will be found across the area this morning until rain moves in
during the mid to late morning hours. Locally dense fog is
occuring in some locations. A dense fog advisory may be required
if this fog becomes widespread.

Motorists should drive with extra caution and allow additional
travel time. Use low beams... reduce speed... and allow for plenty
of room between you and other vehicles.

Cloudy. Rain in the evening...then a chance of rain after midnight. Low around 40. South wind 5 to 10 mph shifting to the west 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 80 percent.

Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain. High in the mid 40s. West wind 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 25 mph.
