A freeze warning remains in effect until 9 am EST this morning.

Low temperatures early this morning will fall to around freezing
across the North Carolina Piedmont... the eastern counties of
upstate South Carolina and westward to Laurens... Greenwood...
Abbeville and Elberton. Although spotty freezing temperatures have
occurred in this area... most locations are expected to see
freezing conditions tonight. Widespread frost is also likely.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.
