Fire Weather Warning Statement as of 5:04 am CST on December 1, 2008

... Red flag warning in effect from noon today to 6 PM CST this
afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a
red flag warning... which is in effect from noon today to 6 PM CST
this afternoon.

Wind speeds of 15 to 25 mph are expected to accompany very low
dew point temperatures in the upper teens and 20s... resulting in
several hours of relative humidity values in the middle teens and
lower 20s during the warmest part of the day. Diminishing winds
and rising humidities should occur by 6 PM... but dry air is
expected to remain in place through at least early Tuesday.

A red flag warning means weather conditions will promote fires
that are difficult to control across the warned area. A red flag
warning is completely separate from a local burn ban which is
issued by local officials.

	Tonight Clear. Lows in the upper 30s. North winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the south after midnight.

	Tuesday Night Partly cloudy before midnight then becoming mostly cloudy. Warmer. Lows in the mid 50s. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph before midnight.
	Wednesday Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the northwest 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

	Thursday Night and Friday Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 30s. Highs around 60.

	Saturday Night and Sunday Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 50s. Highs in the mid 70s.
