The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 6 PM this evening to noon EST
Saturday.

West to northwest winds will increase this afternoon as a coastal
storm moves north of the region. The strongest winds are expected
tonight and continuing into Saturday morning. Sustained winds will
average 20 to 30 mph with gusts around 45 mph possible which may
bring down some small tree limbs and possibly result in scattered
power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds are forecast to be
31 to 39 mph or gusts will range between 46 and 57 mph. Winds
this strong are capable of Downing small tree limbs and
branches... possibly causing isolated power outages. Driving can
also be difficult... especially for high profile vehicles.

Rain showers likely. Near steady temperature in the upper 30s. West winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow showers in the morning...then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Breezy with highs in the upper 40s. West winds 15 to 25 mph. Gusts up to 45 mph...decreasing to 35 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.
