Recycling! It's as easy as taking out the trash!

If you are not already taking part in Denver's easy and convenient residential recycling program you should be. Now there are two easy ways for you to sign up for this NO CHARGE service. Call Denver Recycles at 3-1-1, anytime between 7:30am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Our customer service representatives will ask for your name, address and telephone number. Or you can visit the Denver Recycles web site at http://www.denvergov.org/denverrecycles ans sign up on line. You will need to enter your name, address and telephone number.

Denver Recycles to Launch New Recycling Program in June 2005

The expanded recycling program will include: junk mail, mixed office-type paper, magazines, corrugated cardboard, single layer paperboard (such as cereal and cracker boxes), phonebooks, brown paper bags.

The second component of the program will be to phase out the use of recycling bins. Over a period of three to five years, Denver Recycles will replace the two purple bins with one, larger, wheeled cart. These carts will be collected using new, fully automated collection trucks.
