House numbers should be visible from the street Right of Way should be
unobstructed.
* No branches, trash, debris, dumpsters
* Limbs extending over street or alley minimum height of 13’6”

Sidewalks should be kept clear.
* No plant growth extending into alley or sidewalk
* Low limbs over sidewalk must be a minimum height of 8’
* No trees or shrubs blocking line of sight at intersections, regulatory signs
* Snow & ice to be removed from sidewalks immediately after a storm if
a business and within 24 hours for a residence.
* No cracked, broken or missing sidewalks Fences
* Should be safe, not leaning dangerously
* Should be of proper height: 4ft. in front, 6 ft. on sides and back
* Permit required, approved materials only, no barbed wire, corrugated
metal, or salvage material.
Clutter & Untidiness
* No accumulation of dog droppings

* No weeds or grass over 6” in height
* No trash scattered about
* No furniture intended for inside use or appliances in yards or on porches.
* No construction materials unless current building permit is posted
No construction without the posting of proper permits
No illegal business in residential zone
* Such as car repairs, car painting, office with employees, etc.
* No continuous yard sales. 2 per year allowed Vacant Houses
* If there are o broken doors or windows, don’t have to be boarded up

* No vehicles over 22 ft. long parking at a residence
* No semi-truck, stake-bed trucks, tow trucks & trucks exceeding 6000
lbs. in weight parking in residential areas
* House trailers can be parked on unsurfaced area if it is in rear half

* Screens on doors and windows from May 1 thru November 1

* No broken or missing windows
* No roofs in poor repair, leaking
* No broken or cracked masonry walls or chimneys

* Excessive signs, 4 sp. ft. of sign per 5 linear ft. of window allowed

* No sandwich boards (portable signs)
* Banners allowed (same message, 45 days only)
