CRIME WATCH UPDATE - JANUARY 1, 2008

Hello, Neighbors,

Happy new year to each of you!

Crimes reported to the Dallas police between December 20 - 31, 2007, all took place in areas adjacent to White Rock Village--on John West, St. Francis, and Dilido. These were:

Assault
Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
Threatening phone call
Burglary of a motor vehicle
Aggravated robbery
Theft
Assault (two counts)
Evading detention (suspect escaped from police)
Aggravated assault (two counts)
Deadly conduct, use of a handgun (four counts)

The last six charges appear to have come from one incident.

Although this has not been officially confirmed, it has been reported that the persons committing the burglaries on Sikorski earlier in December have been arrested.

As we begin a new year, let each of us resolve to be good neighbors, to become better acquainted, and to look out for each other. If you see any suspicious persons or witness any suspicious activity, call 911 to report what you have seen.
