CRIME WATCH UPDATE - DECEMBER 20, 2007

Greetings, residents of White Rock Village,

December is a busy month for all of us–shopping, wrapping gifts, cooking, getting together with family and friends. Unfortunately, it is also an active month for crime. The following incidents were reported to the Dallas police between December 11 and 20:

On December 11 Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, 2700 block of Lindbergh

Burglary of a motor vehicle (BMV), 1500 block of Chenault

On December 12 Burglary of a residence, 3700 block of Dilido

On December 13 Criminal mischief, 8500 block of Sikorski

Burglary of a residence, 8600 block of Sikorski

On December 14 Attempted burglary of a residence, 8500 block of Sikorski

On December 20 Assault, 1200 block of St. Francis

Do keep your eyes and ears open and be alert to your surroundings. Don’t leave anything in sight in your vehicle–this is an open invitation for theft. And if you see any suspicious activity or persons in our neighborhood, call 911 immediately.
