About Harry Stone Crime Watch #1155
A Neighborhood for the Next Generation! The Harry Stone Crime Watch, "HSCW" was formed on December 8, 2004. We began this crime watch group to help reduce the crime in our neighborhood, begin to improve our area that has begun to look "unkept" and to join forces as neighbors to teach the children how to handle life's problems in todays world. We believe that this will help them want to be better citizens, feel better about themselves and also to have no desire to join a gang or get involved in criminal activity. I feel like the park is the landmark that brings our community together. When I was young, the park had a creek that ran through the middle of it with little red bridges to cross over the creek every so often. Can you imagine what it would be like to see that creek restored? Can you also imagine how beautiful our park could one day be again with updates, improvements and new flowerbeds? I can and I plan to do something about it! Our neighborhood is extremely unique! We have frame homes, brick homes, a City Park, swimming pool, tennis courts, one bank, two churches, an elementary school, a daycare center, and two shopping centers! Basically, we could do most of our errands within our neighborhood without ever leaving! How many other neighborhoods can say that?! Let's work together to preserve this uniqueness that we have and make it a neighborhood that will become a template for other neighborhoods to follow. With everyone's help, we can be the best of the best! All it takes is a little willingness to make one phone call, or talk to one neighbor. Let's all join together and make our area the #1 area in Dallas! If you would ever like to make a donation, we do accept the following:
