The Purpuse of the Franklinton Historical Society shall be to: encourage the preservation and restoration of historical structures, collect, preserve and display memorabila and historical items, educate, share information and promote interest in Franklinton history; encourage community involvement, both residental and business; cooperate with other organizations interested in Franklinton; nurture a sense of pride in the Franklinton Area.
