I was at the April Annual Meeting and hope I never see a display like that again.  I am a member of Stonegate/Oakvale H.A. and am appalled.  I have written a letter with my concerns to the Associations P. O. Box, certified.  A Board member was screaming at two members as everyone watched. Then all the Board members walked out when they were caught off guard by a nomination for President after demanding not to accept election proxies.  The most ridiculous thing of all, the current President doesn't even want the position.  The election would have set her free.  

Hello, I am not sure who posted this, but I think you have some inaccurate information. There has been some problems with board members getting along in the past, but I am happy to report that has all been resolved. The proxies you speak of were illegal and not immisable in an election. The Vice President never mentioned that he wanted the job of presidency previously and is unable to make meetings consistantly. I did say that I wanted to leave when I was faced with constantly defending myself for this volunteer position. However, 80% of the current board would have left if this would have gone through. I am happy to report that now everone is getting along and I find it a pleasure to serve as President. We are still moving forward and still accomplishing great things for our sub.

As for the board member who was yelling, I am sorry you had to witness that. Previously very angry e mails were sent with some very nasty remarks to other volunteer board members and feeling were hurt. I have now limited e mails to board members and hopefully will never have a display like that again. We will start meeting again in September, I encourage you to attend a meeting this fall and see how productive we have become. Please watch the community bulliten board for dates and times. As of today (June 30th) I have still not received your letter, but will continue to look for it.
