OAWC's proposed hydrant flushing schedule

Ohio American Water Co. will be conducting fire hydrant flushing between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM on the days indicated below.

May 5, 6, 7, 12 All areas west of I-270, also Bader/Batavia area.

May 12. 13 Sunbury Woods area.

OAWC urge's you to bypass your water softener, if applicable, and avoid laundering during the hydrant flushing activities. Water may be temporarily discolored during and after the flushing for a short time, but should clear quickly by running water at an in house tap for a few minutes. you may also notice small water pressure fluctuations during this time. the water will be safe at all times. please contact our customer service center at 1.800.673.5999 with any questions reguarding this matter.
