Remember NEVER bag anything in your recycling can.   It is not opened at the Mecklenburg Recover Center.  It goes in trash.   So you are wasting your time putting it in the green cart if you bag it.   

Trash in recycling carts cost 1.6 Million in additional fees to Mecklenburg residents each year.  The number is more like 2 Million when you including break downs of recycling equipment and injuries to workers.

Toss it in clean and separate ONLY!

Remember only plastic bottles with necks can be recycled for plastic.  Not clam shells, not wide mouth plastics.
