I must say that I am very disappointed in the amount of respect that the residents of Lone Oak Parke do not have for their fellow neighbors. Besides the fact that fireworks are ILLEGAL in the city limits, it is extremely rude to pop them in a neighborhood. Many of us have different work schedules, small children/infants, and pets that get disrupted by the ridiculously loud nature of your fireworks. I understand that people want to have fun on the 4th of July, but go watch a fireworks show or set them off where it is actually legal.
Furthermore, if you insist on being disrespectful of others at least CLEAN UP YOUR MESS. You don't own the streets. Don't take over the whole freaking street. Cars need to get through. I am beyond amazed at the rudeness I experienced when trying to get out of the neighborhood. Yes, we could go around, and had to, but it should never have been an issue.
