We saw what looked like 2 homeless men around the house located at the northeast corner of Mt. Moriah and Willow on Friday. (It was right before the Goodwill if you are about to get on the interstate.) Let's watch out for these abandoned or unoccupied houses that seem to be cropping up more and more in CA. We all need to work with CANA and Code Enforcement to rectify this situation. People will try to stay in these empty houses. 

I noticed one man standing on the traffic island at the northwest corner of Mt. Moriah and Willow begging for money on Saturday.  I have seen other questionable-looking men walking around aimlessly with no real purpose on both Helene and Willow west of Mt. Moriah.  I can't help but wonder whether the recent arrival of these men and the recent spike in shed break-ins in the vicinity are more than just a coincidence.   

I do not think there is any connection between these men and the shed breakins.

The shed breakins would requre a form of transportation to get away with stolen lawn mowers etc.

I know its cruel but we need to call the police every single time we smell them.

I agree -- I usually call the non-emer. # for anything and everything, and at the moment I thought, for sure this is not what is happening here...later I realized it probably was. I'll make it a part of my route now and keep an eye out so we can alert the police. Help me out on this if you can.
