We have purchased a home in the newer area of Stroh Ranch off of Motsenbocker and have read a set of covenants that were provided to us with our Title Insurance information, however they didn't really include specific rules about anything. 

We are just wondering exactly what the parking rules are?  Can you never park on the street? Do the rules only pertain if you have cars parked there overnight? 

I know dozens of people who have lived in Stroh for years and have never said anything about the parking rules... is this a new situation?

There is no parking on the street at anytime.  The HOA spends 1,200 a month to hire 2 folks from a security company to go around and write up any cars on the street.  As it takes them 3 days to cover the entire neighborhood, thats about every third day. 

They have fined one person $1,900 for parking fines, and another $1,300.  I suppose if they throw on lawyers fees (which took one persons 386 dollars overdue HOA fees to $1,200), it'll be in the several thousand dollars for a parking fine.  Personally, that is not how I want my neighbors treated.  It is not how I want to be treated.  Housing price are plummeting, we don't need  the HOA trying to drive folks out of the neighborhood with outrageous fines.  Even more homes on the market will just drive prices down even more.  The HOA has no sense of perspective or judgement when it comes to the parking situation, as evidenced by the fines they levy.

 Just read through all the messages here, you will get a taste of what people have to put up with.

I would advise anyone wanting to move to Stroh Ranch to change their minds and move somewhere else. It is a Communist Community and you will have no input into what happens in your community. You will not get to decide the rules that are inforced.

The HOA does not treat all the homeowners the same. Some homeowers are allowed to do things with their yards while you are not and are threated for it. I purchased my house a little over a year ago and we have been constantly and consistenly harrassed since moving in. Two weeks after we moved into the house we were sent letters to redu the front yard and paint the entire outside of the house. I don't have to tell anyone purchasing a new home how much it costs just to move it. They sent us threatening letters after turning down our initial plans and continued to send threatening letters while we were trying to get approved.

We have at least received 1 letter a month about something. We have called them many times and I never get any relief. We finally moved away and are renting out our house. Today we get a letter with a fine for for a car parked infront of the house. My husband call Jessica Moser a couple of weeks ago and the lying BITCH told us that they also sent the letters our renters. Now we get a fine.

I believe that everyone in STROH RANCH should ban up against the HOA. They have changed the rules about parking and did not take a vote on it with the homeowners. Basically ... PEOPLE that we don't even know are making decisions for our homes without our input. What is that called??? oh yea.. Communism....
