Be aware of who and what is running your HOA.     Still playing games with one of their own board members.  Censorship is not Cool!

Last year the HOA banned Ruth from Facebook, blocked her post every chance that got on Nextdoor.  

Now she is on the HOA board and they still don't support the community events that she raises funds and makes happen for the neighborhood on her own.   Event they even advertise on their HOA web site and then don't bother to host.  

Tell Nextdoor and the HOA Board you don't approve of censorship of our neighbors. 

Nextdoor is not owned by Madison Park.    

Nextdoor needs to remove some of its monitors that are abusing their powers of our local site.  

I have seen enough evidence that what has happened off and on over the last couple of years is flat out being a bully when it comes to blocking post of residents in Madison Park.

The Pecan fund raiser happened last year because the HOA refuses to give a dime to support community events.    Events that clearly residents like or they would not help by donating funds through GO FUND me accounts etc.    

If Ruth wants to raise funds selling Pecans and residents choose to buy the products and the money is not going in her pocket. (Which it clearly is not) then their should be NO ISSUE!

Great event.  Last years event was very successful considering all the efforts of the HOA to stop it all the way up until the second the event started by claiming wrongly it was an illegal event, and she didn't have permission to host it.   She had permission and actually the City of Charlotte Neighborhoods helped her out after all the hassle the HOA caused her for months.  

You HOA is actually a powerless soul, ran by bullies!   Time to tell them to take a HIKE!
