??‹For the third year in a row, Mecklenburg County launches its budget season with the release of its Resident Budget Priority Survey
The Resident Budget Priority Survey is designed to allow residents to give their input on budget priorities before the budget is finalized for Fiscal Year 2022. 
The Resident Budget Priority Survey opened today and will be available November 16 thru December 23. The survey may be found on MeckNC.gov and can be accessed in 100 different languages

Did you know that North Carolina is the seventh-largest apple producing state in the US? Most of our local apples are grown in the western area of the state, as the warm days and cool nights create a perfect growing environment.
The peak harvest is season is mid-August through October, but with the milder NC winters, it can last longer.
