On Tuesday, March 31st, 2020---A burgandy/maroon 4 door 90"s Dodge Daytona car pulled slowly up and took outgoing mail from our mailbox on North Tarabury--the police reponded quickly-but did not apprehend anyone. The driver was a white, slender built man in late 20's wearing a dark baseball cap and large dark sunglasses and dark jacket.
The same day and one previous time, a mailbox on Ceymarie circle was relieved of its mail also.
Pretty sure there are more people out in our neighborhood that have had incoming or outgoing mail stolen and just do not realize it yet. I just happend to be looking out my kitchen window when the crook cruised up or I would not have known until much later.
So, if you see a car that fits the description back on our streets, try to get a license plate number as there are 2 police reports filed on this car already.
Pretty sure he did not just come in only our neighborhood to collect mail--so need to stop this ongoing crime.
