Hi, Im new to the area. About a year now but I work so much its hard to spend quality time with my son. I want to ask everyone if they know a good place to teach my son (6)yrs old about gun safety. Recently we purchased a bb gun for him. I grew up in Texas where shooting was the norm and following rules was a sign of respect.  So being here I do not want to shoot animals, just targets. I want to teach my son that all life is precious and guns are only for self defense and target practice only. Might someone guide me to the right place where I can teach him target practice and gun safety? I know it starts at home. Face one is complete, now we are ready to shoot targets. Any suggestions?
