Portland Now elected new officers in June:

Mary Turner: President
Jennifer Strane-Harris: Vice-president
Bobby Hickey: Secretary
Debra mercer: Treasurer

Upcoming events:
Tom Owen visits Portland Now on September 1 see calendar for time and place.

Clean-up campaign funded by Metro United Way will take place this fall. Portland Now and the 1st Division Police Auxiliary are making plans.

Exploration of Portland Now becoming a Community Housing Development Organization continues.

The revitalization committee continues to work on projects.

Plans for the Portland Gateway project continues. Ongoing with American Institute of Architects. A large portion of the funding will be provided by Metro Louisville through Councilwoman Cheri-Bryant Hamilton.

Come see us at one of our meetings, the first Tuesday of each month at Neighborhood House located at 201 N. 25th Street, time: 6:30 pm.
